SCG-6 is an adsorbent containing a certain amount of hydroxyl groups to be added when switching from magnesium and titanium catalysts to chromium catalysts on-line in the gas phase polyethylene plant, mainly used to adsorb the residual alkylaluminium in the reactor, which is a poison of chromium catalysts.
