Assisting 1 Million Tons Per Year Ethylene Project in Hainan R&C Successfully Start Up

On February 21st 2023, SLC-S catalyst and MKQZ-III feeding system from Shanghai Leader assisted the successful start-up once time in Sinopec Hainan Refining's 1 million tons/year ethylene project.
The Hainan R&C Million Ton Ethylene Project is a key engineering project in Hainan Province and Sinopec. During the preparation and start-up, Shanghai Leader Company provided “anytime”, “all-round”, and “all-dimensional” technical services in the aspects of start-up guidance, reactor operating parameter optimization, catalyst feeding system commissioning, etc., making positive contributions to the project smooth operation. Shanghai Leader's strong technical service capabilities have received praise from customers once again.
SLC-S catalyst, as magnesium titanium catalyst of good performance, has been successfully applied to multiple foreign and domestic customers. It can produce various high-performance PE product specific materials such as film materials, drawing materials, injection plastics, etc. The superior copolymerization and hydrogen regulation of the product are suitable for various gas-phase PE unit. During this time of start-up, the MKQZ-III feeding system features uniform feeding, precise measurement, and stable operation laying the foundation for the production of high-end grade products and long-term operation of the Hainan R&C Polyethylene Plant.
At the same time, the independently developed and produced surface chemical treatment agent of Chromocene (Cp)2Cr has been successfully applied in the full density PE unit, marking that Shanghai Leader Company becoming the first domestic polyolefin catalyst manufacturer to provide Chromocene (Cp)2Cr products, breaking foreign technological monopolies.
