SLD-G50 is a chromium-based polyethylene dry powder catalyst for the Univation process, containing a special chromium compound deposited on dehydrated silica, with a catalyst activity of 4,000-7,000 KgPE/Kgcat. it can be used for the production of polyethylene with a wide range of molecular weights (MW) distribution. This catalyst is intended to replace the imported UCAT-G(S-2) catalyst for the production of HDPE with wide molecular weight distribution (MFR=75-150). In practice, it is mainly used for the production of blow-moulded polyethylene products such as shipping containers, large containers and gas tanks.
